The successful candidate will facilitate the development of DNA-based cancer vaccines prior to their entry into Product Development activities. The candidate must have a solid foundation in core laboratory skills such as aseptic technique, primary tissue cell culture, pipetting µL and mL volumes, and record keeping. The candidate will be required to work independently and with other members of the group. The candidate should be able to effectively multi-task and excel in a fluid work environment. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in immunological assays such as ELISA, ELISpot, or flow cytometry and experience with rodent animal models. Strong and effective mathematic and communication skills - both verbal and written - are imperative.
The individual will work with Scientists and Research Associates in the Immuno-Oncology group to complete projects characterizing the immune responses induced by potential therapeutic vaccine candidates under the supervision of the Senior Scientist Immuno-Oncology group lead.
