The temporary RA I/II will fill a short-term vacancy created by an employee leave of absence, which is expected to be for a period of up to 12 weeks. The Research Associate I/II (RA) works with Scientists and Research Associates in the Immuno-Oncology group to complete projects characterizing the immune responses induced by potential therapeutic vaccine candidates and facilitates the development of DNA-based cancer vaccines prior to their entry into Product Development activities. The RA has a solid foundation in core laboratory skills such as aseptic technique, primary tissue cell culture, pipetting µL and mL volumes, and record keeping. The RA works independently and with other members of the group, effectively multi-tasks, and excels in a fluid work environment.
