Inovio is currently seeking a Clinical Device Trainer with a background in the life sciences, who desires to transition away from traditional/academic lab-based bench work towards application-based translational science in a biotechnology/clinical setting. As Inovio continues to conduct numerous global clinical trials, the Clinical Device Trainer will be in a position to uniquely support the advancement of Inovio’s revolutionary DNA immunotherapy pipeline. The Clinical Device Trainer will apply a versatile skillset to engage and train clinical site personnel (MDs, DOs, RNs, LVNs etc.) on the utilization of Inovio’s drug delivery technologies. The Clinical Device Trainer will travel to clinical sites to represent Inovio as a credible expert in device operation and function. Clinical training platforms include hands-on, face-to-face demonstrations and virtual trainings via internet videoconferencing. Clinical Device Trainers must also interact in-person with clinicians to oversee & ensure successful treatment within the patient setting. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interfacing with corporate Clinical Operations & Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality departments. Additionally, collaboration on interdepartmental device optimization and usability studies will be required.
